Turning 30

I've had plenty of time to prep for it, but I truly can't believe I'm turning thirty tomorrow. I feel like that's such a responsible age and I'm not sure if I can live up to the hype :)
In honor of all things 30, here are 15 things that I adore (15 is half of 30 and I have about half of the energy to blog that I used to.):

1. The rush of happiness I feel when I wake up to get ready for work and then realize that I have the day off. Best feeling ever!

2. Seeing this little girl in jammies:

3. Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies. I can clear through two rows of these without breaking a sweat.

4. This guy. Not enough good things can be said about my hubby.

5. Baseball, even though we don't get to watch nearly as many games and besides the fact that our beloved Sox are stinking it up this year. We still love the game and what it means.

6. My family. All of them. The in-laws, the cousins, the aunts and uncles, grandparents. Everyone. I am seriously so blessed. I love you guys so much.

7. Amelie. The absolute most perfect movie.

8. Fun websites. Thanks to social media, I've found long lost friends and become closer with family whom I rarely get to see in person. I've also found amazing specialty sites like museumsyndicate.com, lostsplendor.tumblr.com, and many, many others which I have become obsessed with.
Where else could you find out that a young FDR was quite the looker??

9. My mom. The best ever. AND she's gorgeous!

10. Diet Mtn. Dew. This stuff is my lifeline.

11. The Sawtooth Mountains. I grew up right next to two gorgeous mountains, but since I can't have Timpanogos next to me up here, I'll settle on seeing the Sawtooths (Sawteeth?) as often as I can.

12. Working for a cool company. I remember when I told my boss and my last job that I was quitting because I got a manager position at B&N and he said, "Can I come too?" Exactly.

13. Midnight in Paris. One of the funniest, best movies I've seen in years. Think of it as The Avengers for bookworms.

14. Summer. And city pools.

15. Jon Hamm. Or more specifically, anything related to Mad Men

Well, there it is. 15 of my favorite things in the world. I am excited to see if the next thirty years are going to be nearly as fun and amazing as my first thirty. Thank you childhood, teens, and twenties...it's onward and upward from here!
