-Our first weekend with the puppy has gone smoothly. Buster is such a hoot and has been relatively easy to deal with. Morty, our English Pointer, has taken a liking to him, so it makes it easier to leave him when we go to work. He and Morty just hang out in the backyard, though I get the impression that Morty gets sick of the little guy following him everywhere, biting his ankles! Buster has had just a few accidents in the house, which is to be expected with a new puppy, but otherwise always goes potty outside. He's just too darn cute for words! I wish he'd stay this size forever :)
-Today I'm picking my mother-in-law Maria up from the airport. She lives in Texas and we only get to see her a couple of times a year. She'll be staying with us for a month and Levi and I are so excited! Maria is one of the sweetest, most caring people I've ever met. The fact that she raised such a great son only increases my high opinion of her :) Hopefully she can handle the two cats and two dogs all wanting her attention LOL!
-It's been a week since my IUI, so I have one more week to go before we know anything. The anticipation is killing me, as it does every month. I think we're prepared for the worst, so it won't be shocking if we get negative results, but we're hoping and praying for a positive result. Levi will make a wonderful dad and I'm confident that together we could raise a great child. It's funny, I used to wonder how on earth we could ever raise more than one child because of our work schedules and our small house and now I see that we would be eternally grateful for just one child. I don't have to worry about having more than one when the chances are we'll only have one. I never thought I'd say that I would be 100% fine with only having one kid, but fertility issues really put everything into perspective.
-Summer in Boise is here, or at least it will be when the clouds go away. I can't wait to go to the Natatorium with Heather and the kids. It's the world's best pool and it's where I spend most of my "free" time in the summer. There is never a prettier time in Boise than the summer. I think anybody who moves to Boise decides to move there because they visited the city in May, June or July. Between all the trees and blossoms, the farmer's market, and overall gorgeousness of the Boise river it's hard to say no to this place. I'm so blessed that I moved here. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Well, I better finish cleaning the house before I go pick Maria up from the airport. I'm obviously procrastinating!

Is the hottie lifeguard with the nasty toes still there??
We are hoping and praying with you!!
Maybe you will get a little girl like my middle child and one will be enough :-)
I was at the Nat today and didn't see him. Mind you, I didn't look too hard either.
Boise was named one of the best 10 places to live in an article I read today. (Shhh, don't tell anyone!)
And hola Maria! Can't wait to eat one of your tamales!! :)
I read about Boise being in the top 10. It said the North end? Where is that exactly. I wish I was there to eat some of Maria's food. I love her too!!! Still praying for a baby!
I'll be praying for you today. I hope everything goes well.
